Celebrating an Extraordinary Friend
It is with profound sadness, love, and gratitude that I remember Tre’ Major, an extraordinary celebrity hairstylist, creative visionary, and cherished friend. For more than twenty years, I had the pleasure of knowing Tre’, collaborating with him professionally, and celebrating his remarkable contributions to the beauty and entertainment industries.
Tre’ became one of my favorite hairstylists, not simply because of his exceptional talent, but because of his wonderful personality, professionalism, generosity, and genuine appreciation for creativity.
Our friendship was built upon mutual respect, shared artistic interests, and a passion for helping talented individuals receive the recognition they deserved.
Our Creative Journey Began Around 2007
I fondly remember beginning our professional collaboration sometime around 2007, when I created Tre’s first media kit through The Society Nineteen Group.
Our objective was to showcase his hairstyling expertise, strengthen his professional image, and position him for editorial recognition in leading magazines and news publications.
Tre’ generously provided an extensive collection of photographs, professional images, and career materials documenting his artistry.
Together, we developed a beautiful presentation highlighting his accomplishments and creative vision.
Our early collaboration focused on:
- Developing his first professional media kit around 2007.
- Securing editorial exposure and features in prominent magazines.
- Building relationships with news outlets and beauty publications.
- Showcasing his extensive photographic portfolio and hairstyling accomplishments.
- Strengthening his professional visibility through public relations and creative storytelling.
Those early projects established the foundation for a friendship and business relationship that continued for many years.
A Friendship Built on Creativity and Trust
Tre’ and I shared many things in common. His world revolved around hairstyling, beauty, and artistic transformation, while my professional passions included fashion, style, branding, publishing, and creative communications.
We understood each other’s creative perspectives and appreciated the importance of excellence in our respective industries.
I remember welcoming Tre’ into my home, where we exchanged ideas, reviewed photographs, discussed business opportunities, and enjoyed wonderful conversations.
He also introduced me to Salon 50 North in Beverly Hills, another special memory from our friendship.
What I appreciated tremendously was Tre’s confidence in my professional abilities. He frequently referred clients and business opportunities to me because he genuinely valued my creativity, professionalism, and commitment to delivering exceptional work.
Those referrals represented something far greater than business. They reflected his trust, generosity, and belief in the quality of my work.
January 11, 2024: Our Second Media Kit
On January 11, 2024, we completed the second media kit I created for Tre’.
This project became especially meaningful because it would be the final media kit he personally asked me to develop for him.
Once again, Tre’ shared an impressive collection of archived photographs, professional images, and materials documenting his remarkable career.
We collaborated closely to organize his visual history and present his artistry with sophistication, elegance, and professionalism.
Today, I am grateful to still have that completed media kit and the memories surrounding its creation.
It represents nearly two decades of creative collaboration, mutual encouragement, professional respect, and enduring friendship.
A Legacy Worth Remembering
Tre’ possessed extraordinary talent, but his beautiful spirit made him unforgettable.
I will always remember:
- His remarkable artistry and dedication to hairstyling.
- His generosity in referring clients and business opportunities.
- Our shared appreciation for fashion, beauty, and style.
- His extensive collection of beautiful professional photographs.
- The trust and friendship we developed over twenty years.
Forever Remembered
To Tre’s family, friends, clients, and colleagues, I extend my heartfelt condolences.
I will forever cherish our creative journey, the laughter, the professional accomplishments, and the memories we created together.
Tre’, thank you for believing in my creativity, supporting my business, and sharing your extraordinary gifts with the world.
Your friendship was a blessing, your artistry was exceptional, and your legacy will continue inspiring others.
You are deeply loved, greatly missed, and forever remembered.
With love and heartfelt remembrance,
